Gosuncn Robot in HongKong First Smart Prison

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Mrs Carrie Lam, accompanied by the Commissioner of Correctional Services, Mr Woo Ying-ming, officiates at the opening  ceremony of the Tai Dam Gap Correctional Institution, the first generation of "Smart Prison", on May 22.

At the event, Mr Woo introduced to Mrs Lam and other guests the upcoming introduction of a patrol robot and a patrol robot dog under development. The robot, named Gosuncn Qianxun X1, was independently developed by Gosuncn Robot CO., a subsidiary of Gosuncn Technology Group, and will provide powerful technical support for the "Intelligent Prison" when it is put into use in the future.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Correctional Services Department. With the joint efforts of the Correctional Services Department (CSD), the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) and the Architectural Services Department (Architectural Services Department), the Tai Dam Gap Correctional Institution has been put into operation with a new look, becoming Hong Kong's first " Smart Prison ".

Gosuncn patrol robot is a multi-functional integrated system, can sense the environment, the independent planning route, patrol in place for continuous monitoring, and realize the human body infrared measuring temperature screening, personnel, behavior analysis, remote scheduling command, and other functions, improve the regulatory preparedness in key sites, security capabilities, enhance the ability to cope with emergency incidents, To provide customers with high and new technology security.

Gosuncn related person in charge of the introduction, Gosuncn patrol robot can make up for the monitoring blind area of fixed-point monitoring, to further ensure the safety of the place. In view of the security requirements in key sites, Gosuncn in 2016 launched the independent research and development of "ARVGIS", will be patrolling robots and BODY WORN CAMERA and other intelligent terminal collection of buildings, streets, people, cars, emergencies, police and other detail information in the form of dot, line, face the map layer, automatic stacking based on high-spot on the "map" of real scene video, truly achieve the whole province command battle in one map, build an integrated real command platform, and to achieve flat, fast, accurate command effect. 

At present, Gosuncn ARVGIS has been successfully deployed in more than 300 projects, mainly used in railway stations, border defense, customs, prisons, parks, airports, city squares, business circles and other key places, to provide safer, more intelligent, better services for the city.
